The audiences of Švandovo theatre know Work Demo as a concert – performance – meeting, a composed evening which is different every time.
Certain parts of various performances are intermingled with the examples from the ensemble´s journeys for inspiration. Thus, the viewer is travelling together with the actors: to see the torreros in Ronde, the female weeper from Vernár in Slovakia, Ruthenians, the fiesta od Andalusian Romanis in Benaluos de Guadix, tango and Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires...
This time, „female miniatures“ from the solo projects of the actresses Hana Varadzinová and Eliška Vavříková, „Reclining woman“, will be introduced in a world premiére. Work Demo will be the peak of the festival due to the joint performance of the actors from Farm in the Cave and the guest artists Iben Nagel Rasmussen, Charlotta Öfverholm, Javier Cura and Leilani Weis. 9 musicians, 12 actors and 108 spectators. A festive theatrical jam – session.

... the audience is meeting the actors alife, without a curtain, but unfortunatelly it all runs too quickly… Hana Varadzinová together with Eliška Vavříková and Robert Nižník create a central acting threesome of this performance. Namely those two young ladies (not accidentally) create situations which enable you – even though you are not witnessing theatre of a drama – to experience a real catharsis.
